Made In Ghana Cars Are Made to Survive Anything
The first car productions in Ghana are preparing to take on major international brands. The person who made it possible knows the difficulty of the task. The Kantanka Group’s CEO Kawado Safo Jr. said that the biggest challenge is having faith in the car by the people. The Kantanka Group is the Nation’s first car manufacturers. People thought that the cars will not work properly and the company will be shut down.
To prove that Kantanka cars are tough enough for the local conditions of the Ghana roads, CEO Kantanka offered cars to Ghanaian Police fire serving.
Despite getting positive views about the cars, Kantanka Group faces a new challenge as a small motor company to compete with the rivals in the market. The Kantanka car production, based in Accra, can just produce 100 cars a month with high cost. The cheapest of three models that are manufactured cost around $20,000.
Safo, the CEO, will not let his dreams down from having such difficulties. His dreams will stop to domestic marks. He said that there are possibilities we come so far and someday we will grow in all over the world. Well, best of luck for that Safo!
