Tons of movies featured tons of cars, but some cars are worth looking into, like the Batmobile. So in this countdown, we’ll list 5 Iconic Cars Featured in Movies. Let’s start:

DMC DeLorean Time Machine from Back to the Future Movie Series

The DMC DeLorean was used in Back to the Future movie series. Its first appearance was in 1985. Dr. Emmette Brown in the movie built this time machine to travel into future. The movie was based to change the past for better future. The reason to choose the DMC DeLorean was because of it’s spaceship-like body style and its gull-wing doors. The machine needed 1.2 Gigawatts of electricity to travel in time. The original car came in 1981 with a V6 engine.

4) 1989 Batmobile (Batman 1989):

The Batmobile was always the best transportation vehicle in Tim Burton’s Batman movie series. Batmobile was always equipped with some great gadgets and weapon that did not kill the enemies but could immobilize them. Batman used Batmobile for the first time to rescue Viki Vale from Joker. Batman also used the remote control gadget to control the car and help himself in a tight situations. Tim Burton had a great idea to bring change from previous Batman movie series. Batmobile got two Chevrolet Impala chassis and it was actually powered by Chevrolet V8. The body of the Batmobile was all about custom fabrication to sustain heavy damage in the movie.

3) Pussy Wagon (Kill Bill 2003):

The Pussy Wagon appeared in the movie Kill Bill Volume 1 which was actually a ’97 Chevrolet Silverado C2500 Fleetside. In the film, the actual owner of the car Buck was killed by the Bill’s Bride. She took the keys of the big yellow truck and it became the first mode of transportation for her. The truck was only used to visit the Vernita Green’s house. In the final part, it was mentioned by Bride that her Pussy Wagon died. The vehicle actually belonged to writer of the movie, Quentin Tarantino. He provided his famous custom named truck to Lady Gaga for her song “Telephone” in 2010. This truck got some history!

2) Dom’s Charger (The Fast & Furious):

Dom’s Charger was a 1970 Dodge Charger with amazing 900 BHP. It was built by Dom (Vin Diesel) and his father in the movie. His father was killed in a race accident and Dom left it in his shed. Dom used the car when it was only left for him to race Brian (Paul Walker)’s Supra. Both made it to the finish line but Dom’s Charger got hit by an oncoming truck. He was later saved by Brian, leaving the damaged Dodge Charger behind.

The classy old wagon was a 1984 Ford Econoline. It first appeared in movie “Dumb and Dumber”. Harry and Llyod (Jim Carrey and Harry Dunne) made a road trip on their Shaggin’ Wagon which was dressed like a sheep dog in the movie. It was also later used in the sequel of Dumb and Dumber called Dumb and Dumber To.
